This is the distillation of Gospel Formation

Redeemer East Side Presbyterian Church hired me to create a branding system that encapsulated these three tenants of Formation: the Practices of PEACE, Callings, and Community. Each facet of Gospel Formation needed a specialized shape and, at times, a sub-system all its own. The Formation brand system was designed with the ability to expand for the institution's needs as they arise.

Transformed together through small, daily rhythms. The practices of PEACE were created to articulate the type of community Redeemer East Side aims to foster; one rooted in sabbath rest, joyful hospitality, compassionate curiosity, committed community, and spiritual serenity.

Five guidebooks — one for each practice — were created to provide congregants with a set of essays, studies, and applicable resources that could be enjoyed and used as guide posts for this community's values.

Taking inspiration from the practice of Commune, this logo mark implements the triangle motif to visually exemplify the enrichment of our lives when we find ourselves living in a loving community.

Parallelograms meant to evoke city blocks, multiplied and propelled forward.

With three categories of calling; neighborhood, work, and relationships, three colors distinguish these facets for the purposes of when they are specifically discussed.
